Eleven Rivers Growers carries out the “Farmer’s Food Safety Day with NSF International experts”

The “Farmer’s Food Safety Day with NSF International experts” started from last June 10, a collab consisting of three trainings during this month, where various subjects of great significance for the best performance of the farming industry were shared. These trainings were developed through the Zoom platform with a 2-hour duration each.

In this training, participants were able to learn about:

  • Good communication practices during a crisis
  • Common elements of a crisis
  • Crisis management plan
  • Development, response and recovery stages
  • Crisis management plan requirement in GFSI Standards
  • Communication during the crisis
  • Key recommendations

NSF International was founded in 1944, with the mission to protect and improve human health worldwide. They develop public health standards and certifications that help protecting food, water, consumer products, and the environment. As an independent and certified organization, they evaluate, audit and certify products and systems, in addition to providing training and risk management.
