Agrícola Belher sends its first pallet with tomatoes to Japan

Thanks to the hard work of the entire team at Agrícola Belher, they sent their first tomato pallet with tomatoes to Japan on Feb 11. During June 2020, Agrícola Belher adhered to the Veggies From Mexico community, in accordance with version 1.0.3 of the Eleven Rivers Growers Distinction, for being in compliace with food safety, social responsibility and sustainability regulations attached to level criteria: BEYOND.

Within their product variety, you may find: Round tomato, Roma tomato and Persian Limes.

Japan is currently ranked third as Mexican agri-food exports destination, only after the US and Canada; being Mexico the main supplier in: Persian Lemon (99%), Avocado (90.6%), “Honey Dew” Melon (79%), Asparagus (56%), “Kent”, “Haden” and “Tommy” Mangoes (35%), Bluefin Tuna (49%), Agave Syrup and Tequila, according to data from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
